Kitchell, Bush Medal in Day 2 Action

DURHAM, N.C. -- The Wake Forest track & field program claimed two medals on Friday at the ACC Outdoor Championships, headlined by Thomas Kitchell's silver medal for men's shot put and Anna Bush's bronze medal at Morris Williams Stadium.
In addition to its two podium finishes, Wake Forest logged 12 top-10 finishes and seven personal bests. Through the second day of the conference meet and nine of 21 events scored, the women of Wake Forest are 10th in the team standings with 13 points while the men rank 11th with 13 points.
Shot Put Silver
Thomas Kitchell continued to add to his stellar season with a throw of 19.10 meters in the first round of the men's shot put. The performance set a new personal best and added to his No. 2 mark in school history. Kitchell picked up his second silver medal of his collegiate career.
Saved The Best For First
The Australian, Anna Bush claimed a bronze medal, collecting 5675 points. Bush broke her own school record and punched her ticket into the national meet. Her path to 5675 points included five personal best out of seven events.
Addison Berry earned a respectable seventh place finish, collecting a personal best 5423 points. The mark moves her to No. 3 in school history.
