Deacs Set for ITA All-American Championships

256 of the top singles players nationally will participate in the annual event.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. — In the most-anticipated tournament of this year's fall slate, the Wake Forest men's tennis team will travel to Tulsa, Okla., for the 2023 ITA All-American Championship at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center.
The tournament will run Saturday (Sept. 30) through Sunday (Oct. 8), with action beginning at 9 a.m. each day.

Last Time Out
Following an impressive open to fall play two weeks ago, Wake Forest had another excellent showing at the North Carolina Invitational last weekend.
Wake Forest's performance was highlighted by graduate student Jamieson Nathan, as the Montana State transfer went undefeated in singles play, posting a 3-0 mark over his three matches.
In doubles play, Wake Forest was paced by the duo of graduate student Harry Thursfield and freshman Dylan Chang, as the pairing went 2-1 for the weekend. Of note, Thursfield/Chang went 2-0 during day one of the tournament.
For the weekend, the Demon Deacons recorded a 4-2 record in doubles matches and an 8-3 ledger in singles play.
ITA Preseason Rankings
In the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Rankings, Wake Forest had three singles players and two doubles pairs ranked.
