Wake Forest Set to Compete in the Bob Pollock and Camel City Invitationals

The Demon Deacons will split their efforts between two events this weekend.
CLEMSON, S.C. - The Wake Forest men's and women's indoor track and field teams prepare for the Camel City and Bob Pollock Invitationals. The Demon Deacons have totaled 60 top-10 and 26 podium finishes so far this indoor season.
Last week at the Hokie Invitational, Thomas Kitchell and Jack Balick both took home first place in their respective events. Kitchell threw a 18.71m shot put and also came in third in the men's weight throw (18.82m). Balick ran a 1:51.17 800m to secure the first place finish.
Weber Long (men's one mile), Robbie Grace (women's long jump) and Dillon Aryeh (men's 800m) all claimed second place at the Hokie Invitational. Finally, Amanda Schaare finished third in the shot put with a 15.27m throw.
The Deacs have 43 athletes competing in 43 events this weekend between both meets. The Camel City Invitational will be held from January 26-27, live results can be found here.
