- Women's Golf:
- Rachel Kuehn and Carolina Chacarra are coming off a memorable week at the Augusta National Women's Amateur with former teammate Emilia Migliaccio.
- Kuehn earned her second top-10 finish in the distinguished event, as she finished tied for eighth.
- Miglicacco, meanwhile, made the cut and competed in Saturday's final round.
- The team is currently competing in their regular-season finale in Raleigh at the Wolfpack Match Play.
- Postseason competition begins next week on Thursday, April 18, with ACC Championships at Porters Neck Country Club in Wilmington, N.C.
- Rachel Kuehn and Carolina Chacarra are coming off a memorable week at the Augusta National Women's Amateur with former teammate Emilia Migliaccio.
- Women's Tennis:
- The Demon Deacons celebrated their three seniors (Brooke Killingsworth, Mia Ahmad, Casie Wooten) and one graduate student (Marcella Cruz) this past weekend before the final home match of the campaign.
- Wake Forest now heads into the final weekend of the regular season with a pair of matches against Clemson (April 12) and Georgia Tech (April 14).
- The ACC Championships will take place in Cary, N.C. from Wednesday, April 17 to Sunday, April 21.
- Track & Field/Cross Country:
- Last weekend the Deacs claimed five podium finishes at the Vertklasse Meet hosted by High Point University.
- Leia Braunagel shattered her previous personal-best with a 55.44m throw. Braunagel still holds the program record for the longest outdoor women's discus throw.
- Megan Cook placed second in the women's hammer with a season-best 58.41m throw, her throw is also the second-longest throw in Wake Forest history.
- In the women's long jump, Robbie Grace finished in first with a 6.17m jump, a personal-best and the second-longest jump in Wake Forest history.
- The Deacs will continue the outdoor campaign at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C. from April 12-13.
- On April 19th the Demon Deacons will return to Kentner Stadium for the Wake Forest Invitational. For more information head to the Wake Forest Invitational tab here.
- Last weekend the Deacs claimed five podium finishes at the Vertklasse Meet hosted by High Point University.
- Women's Basketball:
- The Demon Deacons added a talented transfer to the 2024-25 roster in 1,000-point scorer Emily Johns.
- Johns will come to Winston-Salem this fall following an All-Patriot League season with American this past year, as she posted 20 double-figure scoring games.
- She is a career 47.9 percent shooter while also knocking down 76.4 percent of her free throw attempts.
