The Matchup - Charlotte
The 49ers enter the weekend with a 1-1 record, downing Queens (N.C.) 7-0 at home their last time out. Wake Forest will be Charlotte's second ACC opponent this season, as it dropped a 5-2 contest on the road at Georgia Tech in its opener.

Last season, Charlotte posted an overall record of 19-4 and booked a ticket to the NCAA Tournament for just the second time in program history by winning the AAC Tournament.

Wake Forest is 13-1 all-time against the 49ers and have an eight-match winning streak against the program dating back to 1999.
