The Demon Deacons are coming off a series sweep against Notre Dame for the first 3-0 start to ACC play since the 2012 season.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Following a 36-run weekend to open ACC play, the No. 14 Wake Forest baseball team returns to non-conference action as the Demon Deacons take on No. 24 Coastal Carolina on Tuesday, March 10. First pitch from Spring Brooks Stadium is set for 6 p.m. ET.

The Deacs pitching staff has been impressive thus far, recording double-digit strikeouts in 14 of the first 17 games of the 2025 season. Wake Forest leads the country in strikeouts with 223 on the year, being the only staff with over 210 punchouts.

Schmolke earned the win against Maryland last Sunday with 3.0 one-hit innings, including a season-high 5 K's. The righty has allowed just seven hits on the year, striking out 21 over 12.1 innings.
