Wake Forest wrapped up the weekend at the Penn Relays and Charlotte Invitational.
PHILADELPHIA, PA. / CHARLOTTE, N.C. - Bringing the weekend to a close, Wake Forest track & field competed in the final day of the Penn Relays and Charlotte Invitational.
Rosalind Gergely opened the day in the field at the University of Pennsylvania, placing fifth in the championship round of the javelin with a throw of 44.09 meters.
While Gergely competed at the Penn Relays, Bridget McNally posted a season-best long jump of 5.72m in Charlotte, N.C., finishing fifth. McNally's jump ranks No. 10 on Wake Forest's all-time list.

Prior to hosting the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships at Kentner Stadium in Winston-Salem, N.C., from May 15-17, the Demon Deacons will conclude their regular season at the Duke Twilight on May 4.
