
Wake Forest Returns to High Point, N.C., for Vertklasse Meet

The Deacs head to High Point University to compete in multiple field events on Friday and Saturday.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Demon Deacons will return to action at the Vertklasse Meet in High Point, N.C., April 4-5, after recording several top-10 and ACC marks, as well as breaking meet and facility records at the Raleigh Relays last weekend. This marks the Deacs' second trip to High Point during the 2025 outdoor season.
Heading into the weekend, the women's squad is ranked No. 1 in the 10,000 meters, while the men's squad ranks third, as announced by the USTFCCCA on April 1.

Deacs Lead the Field
On Friday, Jacob Goldberg returns to action in the hammer throw after a standout 58.58 meter performance at the Raleigh Relays.
Goldberg will be joined by Isabella Gera, who takes the field in hammer, discus, and shot put events.
Also on Friday, Rosalind Gergely will throw the javelin, aiming to build on her dominant 41.89m performance in her last competition.
On the Hunt
Savannah Simmons and Bridget McNally continue their long jump campaign, with McNally also stepping into the 100m race after setting a personal best 12.83 seconds at the Raleigh Relays.

The Deacs are set for another in-state trip, competing at the Duke Invitational in Durham, N.C., from April 10-12.
