- Women's Basketball:
- Entering the homestretch of the regular season, the Demon Deacon return to ACC action on Thursday evening, hosting Notre Dame at LJVM Coliseum.
- Wake Forest has earned eight home victories so far this season including a conference-opening win against Georgia Tech.
- Tip-off is scheduled for 6 p.m. and the matchup will air on ACC Network Extra.
- Wake Forest concludes the week traveling up to Massachusetts to face Boston College on Sunday at 12 noon.
- Entering the homestretch of the regular season, the Demon Deacon return to ACC action on Thursday evening, hosting Notre Dame at LJVM Coliseum.
- Women's Tennis:
- The Demon Deacons went 2-0 on the week and remain a perfect 5-0 at home overall on the season after Wake Forest defeated Memphis and Liberty.
- Senior Nevena Carton won her 100th combined career match on Saturday afternoon.
- On Tuesday, Evie Oxford received the ACC's Freshman of the Week award for her performances against Memphis and Liberty. Oxford was a perfect 4-0 in singles and doubles on the week. She leads the Demon Deacons in singles wins, doubles wins and winning percentage in her rookie season.
- She is the first Deac to win the award since Krystal Blanch in 2023-24.
- The Demon Deacons went 2-0 on the week and remain a perfect 5-0 at home overall on the season after Wake Forest defeated Memphis and Liberty.
- Track & Field:
- As the Demon Deacons competed in numerous meets last week, Elizabeth Whaley broke her own school record to place seventh in women's mile. The Cincinnati native dropped over a second off of her previous personal-best time, finishing Saturday's race in 4:35.35.
- Elsewhere, junior Angelina Perez took home third place in the women's 3000m as she posted a time of 9:01.56. The result moved the Ringwood, N.J., native into second in program history, while fellow junior Brooke Wilson propelled herself into third all-time in the women's 3000m after crossing the finish line in 9:05.73 to claim a fifth place result.
- Following an impressive debut last month, freshman Natalia Issler continued her stellar rookie season as she placed second in the women's 800m, clocking 2:05.96.
- Meanwhile, junior Seren Rodgers closed out competition at the Darius Dixon Invitational by moving into fifth all-time in the women's 200m with a personal-best time of 25.20 seconds.
