Come Out Swinging

Wake Forest has scored in the first inning in eight of the first 13 games, after doing so just 25 times in 61 games a season ago. The early offense has translated to the win column, with Wake sitting at a perfect 9-0 when scoring first entering the series against the Cardinal.
