Wake Forest will look to advance to the NCAA quarterfinals for the third-consecutive season with a win.
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Hosting a Super Regional for the third-consecutive season, the top-seeded Wake Forest men's tennis team will welcome 16-seed UCF to the Wake Forest Tennis Center Friday evening.

The Demon Deacons (32-3) have once again solidified their status as one of the nation's premier programs. Wake Forest enters the weekend carrying the country's longest active home winning streak at 48 matches, a remarkable stretch dating back to April 2024. With a victory tomorrow, the Deacs would complete a second-consecutive undefeated season at home.
Wake Forest's dominance at home has been unmatched for more than a decade. Since 2013, the Demon Deacons have amassed 243 home victories, the most in the nation, further underscoring the program's sustained excellence at the Leighton Courts.
That success has also translated to the national stage under head coach Tony Bresky. The Demon Deacons have now advanced to the NCAA Round of 16 in three-consecutive tournaments and in four of the last five seasons, highlighting the consistency and postseason success the program has achieved under Bresky's leadership.
This weekend will mark the fourth time Wake Forest has hosted an NCAA Super Regional. The Demon Deacons have taken advantage of each of their previous three hosting opportunities, advancing to the quarterfinals in 2019, 2024, and 2025.
With a win on Friday, the Deacs will await the winner of (9) Oklahoma at (8) Arizona, which will be played on Saturday at 4 p.m.
It would mark Wake Forest's sixth quarterfinal appearance in program history, all of which have come since 2017, while also aiming for its third straight trip. Entering this season, the Demon Deacons were one of only five programs in the country to reach at least five quarterfinals over the previous eight NCAA Tournaments.
The quarterfinals (May 14), semifinals (May 16) and championship match (May 17) will be played at the Dan Magill Tennis Complex in Athens, Georgia.

Dlimi is the lone ranked player for the Knights and holds a 13-9 record at the one spot.
This will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two schools with Wake Forest holding a 4-1 advantage dating back to 2012, with the only loss coming on the road in 2021 (4-3). The last meeting came in 2022 as the Deacs secured a 7-0 sweep at home.
