2025 (Junior): Appeared in eight matches during the spring season for the Demon Deacons.... Picked up two singles victories during dual match play, happening against East Carolina and Western Carolina... Earned three doubles victories during the spring against Navy, Virginia Tech, and Stanford.
2024 (Sophomore): Made five appearances for the spring...Won each of her three completed singles matches in dual play, happening versus Campbell, Western Carolina and Elon...Played with a handful of teammates for doubles through the fall and spring, going 4-4 overall...Won her first fall showing over Ohio State's Dani Schoenly on Sept. 15 in a three-set victory...Competed at the No. 6 singles spot for each of her spring matchups.
2023 (Freshman): Appeared in 14 matches during her first year...Notched three wins apiece in singles and doubles action...Picked up her first collegiate solo win against Campbell (Feb. 5), dropping only two games in a two-set performance...Followed that feat with a straight-sets victory over UNC Greensboro the next week (Feb. 11)...Teamed up with various Deacs in doubles, mostly alongside senior Maddie Lynch...Only let up one total game through each of her three doubles wins...ACC Academic Honor Roll.
HIGH SCHOOL: ITF U-18 G4 runner-up in doubles.
Why Wake?: "I chose Wake Forest because I felt it was the best school for me in both academics and my sport."
PERSONAL: Daughter of Cuixia Yu and Wei Li...Potentially considering studying in the business field.
