Green Places Fifth in 800m at NCAA Championships

AUSTIN, TX.-- Wake Forest senior Nikeya Green recorded a fifth-place finish with a time of 2:04.74 in the 800m finals at Saturday's NCAA Track and Field Championships.
The Woodbridge, Va. native joins Annie Bersagel as the two Demon Deacons to earn All-America honors at the 2004 NCAA Championships held at the University of Texas' Mike A. Myers Stadium.
As a team, the Wake Forest women finished tied for 39th place with a total of five points. The UCLA women were crowned NCAA team champions with 64 points while the Arkansas men finished first with 61 total points.
