Anna Nosenko Hits NCAA Provisional Mark Out West

SEATTLE, Wash. - Junior Anna Nosenko continued her stellar start to the indoor season Friday night as ran an NCAA Provisional time of 16:20.39 in the 5,000m run at the Husky Classic in Seattle, Wash.
The third heat of the night featured a number of All-Americans and the pace sure All-American worthy. Nosenko's time of 16:20.39, which was her third-best 5k ever and her fastest indoors, placed her 12th overall in the event.
This was the fastest 5k race in the country this year as Nosenko now ranks 13th among all DI runners. Last week at the Virginia Tech Elite Meet, Nosenko won the 3,000m event in an NCAA Provisional time of 9:28.04.
The rest of the Demon Deacons will be in action Saturday night at the New York Armory for the Armory Duals. Action is set to begin at 6 pm.
