Lincoln Earns All-ACC Honors at ACC Championships

RALEIGH, N.C. - Ben Lincoln earned All-ACC honors for the fourth-straight year on Friday in the javelin at the ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Raleigh, N.C. hosted by NC State.
Lincoln registered a mark of 70.03m which earned him third place in the event. The senior from Hingham, Mass. is the current school record holder in the event.
Thomas Bojanowski secured a spot in the men's 800m finals on Saturday after finishing in third place with a time of 1:49.97.
At the end of the second day of competition, the women's team is seventh in the ACC with 20 points while the men's team is eighth with 11 points.
Women's 400m (Prelims)
Brianna Dekine finished in ninth place with a time of 56.23 seconds while Myesha Barr took 12th at 56.78.
Women's 100m (Prelims)
Mytoia Gathings finished with a time of 11.88 which ties her own school record she set earlier this season.
Women's 800m (Prelims)
Kendal Knous finished with a time of 2:22.37 in the women's 800m.
Women's Long Jump
Erin Brooks finished with a distance of 5.74m (18-10) in the long jump on Friday.
Women's Heptathlon
Erika Martin took sixth overall in the heptathlon with 4786 setting a new personal record. Martin finished ninth in the long jump with a mark of 5.14m and took second in the javelin with a throw of 33.53m. She also finished eighth in the 800m with a mark of 2:30.70.
Men's 800m (Prelims)
Bojanowski will advance to the finals after finishing in third place with a time of 1:49.97. Kyle Graves set a new personal record and qualified for the finals by finishing with a time of 1:50.58. Teammate Michael McEnany finished at 1:52.37 while Kyle Eager crossed the finish line at 1:53.88. Ryan Horgan finished with a time of 1:58.66.
Men's 400m (Prelims)
Daniel Harrison finished with a time of 48.77 in the 400m dash.
Men's 3000m Steeplechase (Final)
Nate Guthals finished with a time of 9:22.83 while Jake Graham finished at 9:24.57.
Men's Javelin
Lincoln finished third in the javelin with a throw of 70.03m which earned him All-ACC honors for the fourth year in a row. Patrick Donelan finished fifth among all competitors with a mark of 65.32m for a new personal best. Aiden McConnell also set a personal best with a throw of 51.31m.
Men's Shot Put
Steve Michaelsen set a personal best in the shot put with a mark of 16.02m for an eighth place finish.
