Freshman Mimi Rhodes took home the individual title.

Charlottesville, Va. - Three Wake Forest women's golfers played as individuals over the past two days at the Cavalier Match Play event, hosted by Virginia.

There were eight schools participating in the team portion of the event, which did not include Wake Forest, but there were also eight individuals playing in their own bracket.

Freshman Mimi Rhodes went 3-0 and won the individual title, defeating teammate Lauren Walsh in the semifinals.

Walsh went 2-1 and took home third, with her only dropped match coming to Rhodes. Junior Vanessa Knecht dropped her first match but finished 2-1 and took home fifth place.
