Deacs Set for Final Regular Season Indoor Meet at JDL DMR Invite

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – The Wake Forest track and field programs will suit up for their final indoor regular season meet before beginning their preparations for the ACC Championship next weekend. The Demon Deacon's final meet will be held at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem.
Last Time Out
The Demon Deacons most recently competed in the Darius Dixon Invite, during which Luke Tewalt stole the spotlight with his 4th place finish, sub-four minute mile and school record title. However, against some fierce competition, the rest of the athletes competing in last weekend's action had equally impressive performances as the team totaled 10 top-5 finishes and 20 top-10 finishes.
Who Is Competing
The teams competing with Wake Forest are Boston, Cincinnati, Duke, Georgetown, Harvard, Oklahoma State, Texas and Vanderbilt will all be traveling to the Winston-Salem based competition this weekend to compete against Wake Forest.
The Deacs will be sending 23 of their athletes to compete over the course of the two day invitational. Over the course of those two days these athletes will be competing in 9 individual events and 2 relays.
