- Women's Basketball:
- The Demon Deacons grabbed a pair of crucial wins on the road this week against Pitt and Georgia Tech, moving up one spot in the conference standings with a week to play in the regular season.
- On Thursday, Wake Forest grabbed a 15-point win at Pitt, its highest margin of victory on the road in the ACC since 2011.
- The Demon Deacons had one of their most efficient performances from three, as the team finished 10-of-21 from deep (47.6 percent), including five Deacs with at least one triple. It marked the third time this season Wake Forest knocked down double-digit three pointers and second time in ACC play.
- Redshirt freshman guard Kate Deeble finished a stellar 5-of-5 (100 percent) from beyond-the-arc and 7-of-9 from the floor. Her five threes are the most by a Demon Deacon this season and most since Feb. 19, 2023.
- On Sunday, the Deacs captured their highest NET victory of the season when they knocked off NCAA Tournament contender Georgia Tech, 71-66, behind a historic performance from Elise Williams.
- The victory marked the first time this season that the Demon Deacons have won back-to-back games after their win over Pitt on Thursday (Feb. 22). Additionally, Sunday marked the first time that the Deacs have won back-to-back ACC games since defeating Louisville and Miami at home on Jan. 26 and Jan. 29, 2023 and the first time Wake Forest has won back-to-back road games in the ACC since beating Georgia Tech and Clemson on Feb. 7 and Feb. 14, 2021.
- Wake Forest was led by a career-high 31-point outing from Williams, who shot a stellar 10-of-15 from the floor and 3-of-5 from beyond the arc.
- As a team, Wake Forest shot an impressive 77.8 percent (7-for-9) from the field in the fourth quarter, while assisting on six of the seven made baskets. Overall, the Demon Deacons logged 18 assists on 26 made baskets (69 percent) for the contest.
- Wake Forest plays its final home game of the season Thursday night against Clemson at 6 p.m.
- Williams will be going for history as she needs just 17 points to reach 1,000 career points. She would become the 31st player in program history to reach the career mark and this would be the fifth player to reach the milestone since 2020.
- Women's Tennis:
- The Wake Forest women's tennis team earned a third place finish at the 76th Annual Blue Gray National Tennis Classic over the weekend, which included two top-25 victories for the Demon Deacons.
- On Friday against No. 25 Yale, Wake Forest took the doubles point for the sixth-consecutive match, as the reigning ACC Doubles Team of the Week of senior Brooke Killingsworth and graduate student Marcella Cruz earned a 6-3 victory over Yale's Aggarwal/Ha.
- In singles against the Bulldogs, senior Casie Wooten (6-4, 6-3) and freshman Sankavi Gownder (6-2, 6-0) both improved to a 4-2 in singles play this spring and are tied for the most wins on the team. Sophomore Nevena Carton earned a 6-2, 6-3 win for her third win in dual play.
- The next day, No. 26 Wooten improved to 6-2 in dual play this season with six-consecutive wins. Against Texas Tech, the senior earned her sixth win over a ranked opponent since the start of fall play, as she earned the lone point against the Red Raiders with a 6-1, 6-3 victory over No. 59 Christina Tiglea. She followed that up with a 6-2, 6-4 win over Megan Heuser of Illinois and completed her perfect 3-0 weekend.
- The Deacs dropped the second round matchup to the Red Raiders, but took down No. 24 Illinois later that afternoon.
- Up next, the Demon Deacons will return home for a pair of matches to open ACC play against Louisville and Notre Dame on Friday and Sunday.
- The match against the Cardinals is slated for 4 p.m. at the Wake Forest Tennis Center.

- Track & Field/Cross Country:

- This past weekend the Wake Forest women's indoor track & field team traveled to Boston to compete in the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The Deacs had nine athletes finished in the top-10 across multiple events.
- Women's Soccer:
- Following a successful 2023 campaign, and the addition of several key acquisitions, head coach Tony da Luz officially unveiled the 2024 spring schedule for the Wake Forest women's soccer team last Friday evening.
- The eight-match slate features contests against Power Five opponents Duke, Tennessee, Georgia and Alabama.
- Field Hockey:
- The Demon Deacons announced their spring schedule last week, as the team will play a total of five matches including two matches at Kentner in April.
