    • Goalkeeper Jonah Mednard has conceded just once in his career with 361 total minutes in goal with two clean sheets. He holds a .889 save percentage and a .25 goals-against average.
  • This will be the last of a five-match home stand for the Demon Deacons to open 2025 and will begin conference play on Friday at North Carolina.
  • Wake Forest will look to start unbeaten through five matches for the fourth time under Muuss and for the first time since 2022.
  • The Demon Deacons enter the contest unbeaten in their last 16 matches at Spry Stadium with wins in eight of the nine eight.
    • The Deacs hold a 12-0-4 home record dating back to Aug. 25 of last year.
    • Additionally, the Demon Deacons have yet to trail this season and have led for 158 minutes.
  • Seven separate Demon Deacons have contributed to nine goals scored so far this season, with Tate Lorentz leading the squad with two following his header against Lipscomb.

Series History
  • This will mark the fifth meeting between the two schools as Wake Forest holds a perfect 4-0-0 record over Campbell dating back to 1989.
    • Additionally, it will be just the second time Wake Forest has hosted Campbell, with the only other instance coming in 1990 (W, 4-0).
  • The only meeting between the Demon Deacons and Camels this century happened in 2023, when the Deacs earned a 3-1 road victory on Sept. 26.
  • Over the four previous matches, Wake Forest is out-scoring Campbell 15-to-2 and has scored at least three goals in each meeting.

Scouting the Camels
  • Campbell enters the match unbeaten in its last three matches after dropping the opener to Davidson and holds a 2-1-1 record headed into Tuesday.
    • The Camels are perfect in CAA play following a 2-1 victory over William & Mary on Aug. 29.
    • Of note, their conference match against UNCW on Saturday was postponed due to weather.
  • Senior forward Ethan Roberts leads the squad with two goals after striking early against Winthrop and William & Mary.
  • Campbell returns their 2024 leading goalscorer in junior midfielder Filipe Matos, who finished last season with five goals and three assists for 13 points and was the only Camel to reach double-digit points on the year.
  • Matos landed on the Preseason All-CAA team and was joined by fellow junior midfielder Evans Dapaah, who was named an honorable mention.
  • Sophomore goalkeeper Max Leviton returns after an impressive freshman campaign that saw him post a 6-1-0 record with a .86 goals-against average.
    • This season, Leviton has allowed just two goals in three matches and has posted a .818 save percentage.

Last Time Out (vs. Lipscomb)
  • Behind an output of four goals from four different Demon Deacons, the No. 7 Wake Forest men's soccer team continued its unbeaten start to 2025 as it downed Lipscomb, 3-0, Friday evening at Spry Stadium.
  • Wake Forest's four goals were a season-high early into the campaign, as junior Ethan Subachan got the Demon Deacons in front in the 25th minute as he perfectly positioned himself for second effort for his first goal of the year. Then just minutes later, fellow junior Tate Lorentz headed home a deflected cross from sophomore Amoni Thomas for his second of the year.
  • Minutes out of the halftime break, senior Basit Umar bagged his first goal of the year heading home a cross from sophomore Jeffrey White. Senior Cooper Flax set up the goal with a beautiful placed ball to White down the right wing. Then in the final minutes, redshirt junior Nico Rabiu scored his second career goal with Lorentz and a debuting Bret Russell Jr. logging assists.
  • In goal, redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Jonah Mednard and redshirt freshman Owen Barnett – who made his collegiate debut – combined for a shutout. So far this season, Mednard has posted a 0.27 goals-against average and a .889 save percentage with just one goal allowed.
  • For the fourth-consecutive match to open the season, Wake Forest went with a starting backline of junior Travis Smith, Jr., sophomores Mason Sullivan and Amoni Thomas, and graduate captain Cristian Escribano.
  • The Demon Deacon defense once again excelled in limiting opportunities for the visitors and only allowed zero shots on goal over the 90 minutes for the first time since a 1-0 victory over Jacksonville on Oct. 4, 2022. Additionally, Wake Forest has outshot opponents 67-to-33 through the first four matches of the season.
  • Additionally, this marks the first time since Oct. 1-12 (four matches) of last year that the Demon Deacons recorded three-consecutive clean sheets.
  • With the draw, the Demon Deacons are now unbeaten in their last 16 matches at Spry Stadium. Overall, the Deacs hold a 12-0-4 home record dating back to Aug. 25 of last year.
