WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Avenging its loss from a week ago, the No. 4-ranked Wake Forest men's tennis team battled to a 4-2 victory over No. 6 Baylor Sunday afternoon at the Wake Forest Tennis Center. The Demon Deacons followed that up with another 4-0 win against Coastal Carolina to complete a perfect weekend.
The Deacs (12-2, 0-0 ACC) extended their home winning streak to a stellar 36 matches dating back to April of 2024. Since 2013, Wake Forest leads the nation in home wins with 232 and ranks second during that span in total wins with 368.

Baylor has a very good team, we were coming off of a loss to them at their place last weekend. I think boys were motivated. It was nice to play a couple of high quality out-of-conference matches. It was a long, tough weekend. We're excited to get ready for the ACC season starting Friday."" – Head coach Tony Bresky
