Deacs Honor Senior Class Tomorrow Against Boston College

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. - The Wake Forest field hockey team closes the 2024 home slate with a matchup against No. 12 Boston College at 5 p.m. from Kentner Stadium on Friday, Oct. 20.
Friday's match will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra with Jacob Munch on the call.
Wake Forest Highlights
• Wake will honor seven seniors playing in their final game at Kentner following the match against the Eagles.
• The Deacs are averaging 4.46 saves a game ranking first in the ACC while Ellie Todd is tied for first among league keepers with 4.00 SPG. Todd ranks second in the league with 52 saves on the season. The Demon Deacons are tied for first in the ACC with six shutouts through 12 matches of the 2023 campaign while the .62 Sho/G ranks first as well.
• Faye Janse (15th) and Nat Friedman (20th) rank in the top 20 of the ACC in shots per game with Janse averaging 2.00 with Friedman behind her with 1.62 per game.
• The Deacs bounced back with a 3-0 win over Longwood on Sunday afternoon at Elizabeth Burger Jackson Field for their third-straight nonconference win with all three coming on the road for the Demon Deacons.
Opponent/Series History
• Wake Forest takes on Boston College for the 30th time in program history. The Deacs lead the Eagles 20-9 all-time and have won three of the last four against the Eagles.
• The Demon Deacons took home a 4-2 victory a season ago in Boston.
