JOHNSON CITY, TENN. - Wake Forest men's golfers Boyd Owens, Kyle Haas and Tom Haberer are competing in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate as individuals on Sunday.

Three notable Demon Deacon alumni have competed in this tournament. In 2014, Will Zalatoris took home his first individual championship at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. During his Wake Forest career, Webb Simpson also competed in the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate.

In his last appearance at the J.T. Poston Invitational, Haberer ended the tournament with the first top-25 finish of his career. In the first round, the freshman recorded a career-high score shooting a 68 (-3). Haberer also helped the Deacs claim their first team championship of the season at the Highlands Invitational.

Owens is set to make his first individual appearance of the season at the Bank of Tennessee Intercollegiate. The Louisiana native appeared with the team at the Sahalee Players Championship and Highlands Invitational prior to Sunday.

Haas prepares to make his third start of the fall in Sunday's action. The freshman made his first two appearances of the season at the J.T. Poston Invitational as an individual and the Highlands Invitational with the Wake Forest B team.

The Deacs are set to play in a field of 15 teams at the Blackthorn Club. The tournament features two nationally ranked teams, No. 5 Tennessee and No. 11 ETSU.  The Demon Deacons will also compete against conference foe Virginia Tech.
