"We are incredibly proud of Mia and all she has accomplished," head coach Jen Averill said. "Her selection to the Pan American team is a reflection of her dedication and passion for the sport. Wearing the red, white, and blue is a tremendous honor, and we look forward to watching her represent our program and our country with pride."

USA POOL PLAY SCHEDULE
A member of Team USA at the 2024 Junior Pan American Championships, Schoenbeck helped guide her country to silver at the games, including a goal in the 32nd minute against Canada in the final game of
the group stage.
Schoenbeck was one of three Demon Deacons to start every match this season and recorded three goals and two assists in her second season in the Old Gold & Black on her way to earning Second Team All-ACC honors.
The sophomore got on the ledger in the Deacs second match of the year, playing a beautiful aerial into fellow second-year Faye Janse, who knocked down the pass and fired a shot into the left side of the cage to put Wake Forest up against Michigan.
Schoenbeck opened the scoring for Wake Forest off a Demon Deacon penalty corner against VCU and added her second assist of the year against Kent State.
The Louisville, Kentucky native recorded the first brace of her career in Wake's 6-0 victory over Davidson earlier this year, as she scored a pair of fourth-quarter goals to cap the win for the Demon Deacon.
Schoenbeck continues a strong summer for the Demon Deacons at the international level, as she will join Wake alumni, Brooke McCusker and Grace Delmotte, who will compete with Field Hockey Canada at the event.
Rising sophomores Lena Keller and Mia Montag competed with Team Germany at the Four Nations Tournament.
Rising junior Ava Moore and incoming freshman Calista Boos were selected to compete in the 2025 Senior Nexus Championship (NXC).
With seven caps at the junior level, Moore was also selected to the Team USA Women's 2025 Junior Pan American Games set to take place in August.
Boos was named to the 2025 U.S. U-18 Women's National Team back in February.
At the senior level for Team USA, rising junior Mia Schoeneck helped Team USA to a fourth-place finish at the 2025 FIH Nations Cup. Schoenbeck earned her first start and scored her first goal at the senior level in the tournament.
The 2025 Wake team returns 60 of its 80 points (75.0%) from the 2024 season. All three student-athletes who reached double-digit points return, as Lauren Storey (17), Faye Janse (14) and Montag (10) look to build on outstanding campaigns a season ago.
Fans will have 10 opportunities to see the Demon Deacons in action at Kentner Stadium during the 2025 regular season. Wake Forest opens the 2025 home slate against Longwood on Sunday, September 7 at 1 p.m. ET.
