  • Field Hockey: 
    • After a regular season to remember, the Wake Forest field hockey team has been recognized with four of the five yearly ACC awards and five members of the All-Conference teams, as announced by the league office on Monday afternoon.

      • ACC Defensive Player of the Year | First Team All-ACC – Mia Montag | B | So.

      • Second Team All-ACC – Ellie Todd | Sr. | GK
      • The Demon Deacons open postseason play as the No. 3 seed at the 2025 ACC Field Hockey Championship on Tuesday at Trager Field in Louisville, Ky.
    • Wake Forest will take on the No. 6 seed Syracuse. Push back is scheduled for 6 p.m. ET and will air on ACC Network.
  • Women's Soccer: 
    • The Wake Forest women's soccer team (10-4-4, 4-3-​3 ACC) concluded its regular season campaign on the road against No. 6 Florida State last Thursday. 
    • In net, redshirt sophomore Valentina Amaral surpassed a career high with 12 saves on the night. The Oviedo, Fla., native has now reached 69 saves this season, which ranks fifth in the ACC. Additionally, this marked the most saves in a single game for a Demon Deacon since Nonie Frishette had 12 against Penn State on Sept. 2, 2018.
    • The Demon Deacons now turn their attention to the NCAA Tournament, beginning with the selection show on Nov. 10 at 3 p.m.
  • Volleyball: 
    • Wake Forest volleyball on Sunday hosted No. 5 Stanford. The Demon Deacons battled through rallies before falling in a 3-0 defeat to the Cardinal. 
    • Senior Paige Crawford led the Deacs in kills for a 10th time this fall, totaling a match-high 13. Graduate student Ryleigh Whitekettle added seven kills.
    • Setters Rian Baker and Becca Bellows recorded 15 and 11 assists, respectively. Senior Emma Farrell finished with nine digs.
    • The Deacs will remain at home this upcoming weekend, starting with their Seniors & Graduates Day in a Friday evening contest versus Notre Dame. The program will honor Rian Baker, Paige Crawford, Emma Farrell and Olivia Murphy in a pregame ceremony. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m. and the match will stream on ACC Network Extra.
  • Cross Country: 
    • The No. 28-ranked women's cross country team competed in the ACC Championship last week, placing ninth in a loaded field that featured five ranked teams that finished inside the top-10. 
    • Junior Angelina Perez once again led the Deacs with a ninth-place finish, clocking a time of 19:38.4 to earn All-ACC honors for the second consecutive season.
      • The Ringwood, N.J., native has now logged four top-10 finishes this season, including claiming the first individual title of her collegiate career at the Queen City Invite. Perez also recorded a runner-up performance at the Arturo Barrios Invitational and a fourth-place result at the Gans Creek Classic earlier this season.
    • Junior Brooke Wilson was the next-best finisher for the Deacs, placing 31st with a time of 20:14.1. Senior Elizabeth Whaley finished 49th after recording a time of 20:31.2. Graduate student Maisie Wilmer and senior Mackenzie Hart placed 76th and 77th, respectively, to complete the top five for Wake Forest.
    • The Demon Deacons will compete in the NCAA Southeast Regional Meet on Friday, Nov. 14 at the Panorama Farms course in Earlysville, Va. The first and second place finishers of the regional meet will automatically qualify for the NCAA Cross Country Championships, which will be held in Columbia, Mo. on Saturday, Nov. 22.
  • Women's Basketball: 
    • The Wake Forest women's basketball hosted Radford on Monday for Opening Night, and will continue at home against Presbyterian (Thursday, Nov. 6 at 6 p.m.) and Hampton (Sunday, Nov. 9 at 2 p.m.).
    • Heading into the fourth season of the Megan Gebbia era, the Demon Deacons restocked the roster with an infusion of exciting young talent as well as veteran transfers, adding eight new players in total ahead of the 2025-26 season.
